Chitra Bharti Film Festival of Short Films in Delhi on 16 -18th February 2018

Ms. Bhuvi Gupta declared Winner for the logo of the Film Festival

New Delhi. Madhur Bhandarkar renowned Film Director and Alok Kumar, Advocate & Chairman of Bharatiya Chitra Sadhna (BCS) addressing the press conference declared that the BCS will hold film festival of short films on 16 – 18th February 2018 in Delhi. The entries have been invited for the categories of (i) Short Films (ii) Documentary Films (iii) Animation Films (iv) Campus Films, on the subjects specified.

Madhur Bhandarkar also inaugurated the website of BCS for the Chitra Bharti Film Festival 2018.

BCS had also held an All India Competition for Logo Design for the Chitra Bharti Film Festival. The jury of the Logo Competition comprised of Adwaita Gadanayak, the Director General of National Gallery of Modern Art, Vasudev Kamath An Internationally acclaimed artist of India and National President of Sanskar Bharti and J. Nand Kumar, National Convener Pragnya Pravah.

The winner of the competition is Ms. Bhuvi Gupta, Mumbai currently working as Front-end Engineer. Graphic Designing and Web development is her hobby. Madhur Bhandarkar has also released this Logo for the Chitra Bharti Film Festival.

The Bharatiya Chitra Sadhna is a Public Charitable Trust established with a Vision to use the popular medium of short films, documentaries and animations to spread the cultural values of Bharat. It had organized its first film festival in Indore on 26 -28th February 2016 which had received 309 entries from 8 States. The festival was graced amongst others by Madhur Bhandarkar, Vivek Agnihotri, Mukesh Tiwari, Rahul Ravel, Manoj Joshi, Vinod Mankar and Raj Dutt.

Bharatiya Chitra Sadhna will organize film appreciation courses in all the major states of India, and campaign particularly in university campuses and film institutes to invite entries also from the budding youth of the Country.
