Entire world is looking at India with all expectations and only India can show the way
Amravati. The world has become beautiful place to live as like a garden because of variety of sects and their different traditions and life style. A nation falls when variety becomes differences while the sense of unity among people makes the nation leader in entire world. Unity in diversity is the peculiarity of India for ages, said Dr Mohan Bhagwat Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He visited the village Riddhapur in Amravati district of Maharashtra where the first book in Marathi was written by Chakradhar Swami who was also the founder of Mahanubhav sect in Hindu Dharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Bhagwat said that the spirit of Indian nation is spirituality. Hindu culture can be described in one sentences but it’s a difficult thing to follow in everyday life. It took 800 years to Hindu Dharma to take notice of one sect. This tendency has caused immense losses to us. We need to increase the periphery of our affection for people. Preaching of Chakradhar was not restricted for those who follows Mahanubhav sect but was for all. All great men in the world have preached truth and non violence, words might have been different. We need to stand as one society and coming together gives the strength to society. All sects teach character to people. Entire world is looking at India with all expectations and only India can show the way to world. We all should share out sorrows and joys. We should strengthen our society as like our family, Dr Bhagwat said.
Dr Bhagwat visited Riddhipur on March 19. This historical place is Nine kilometer from Chandur Bajar towards Morshi and has rich tradition. This is the religious place for Mahanubhav sect, which one of the sects in Hindu Dharma. Rajmautt, founded by Chakradhar Swami is still there and Sarsanghachalak visited there. He also visited the library where the first Marathi book is kept. He did discussions with Mahanubhav saints at Yakshadeo Mutt here and also paid visit to Datta temple founded by a spiritual personality late Bhau Deshpande.
Entire Riddhipur was decorated to welcome Dr Bhagwat. All roads were decorated by Rangolis drawn by women in the village. All India Mahanubhav Parishad and people of Riddhipur felicitated Dr Bhagwat in a programme here. Thousands of people in the surrounding villages had gathered to listen Dr Bhagwat. Saints of Mahanubhav sect mentioned that visit of Sarsanghchalak has added a moment of glory in the history of the sect. Mahanubhav sect is the part of Hindu Dharma. We and RSS are not different things and it is the matter of pride for us to get connected with RSS, said Karanjekar Baba, prominent saint of Mahanubhav sect. Another saint Bidkar baba also praised the work of RSS.
Brief history of Riddhapur
Haripaldev came to Riddhipur in 12th century and with the inspiration of Govind Prabhu he started propagating his thoughts against Chaturvarna system in Hindu Dharma. His Guru later changed his name and people started calling him as Chakradhar Swami. He founded the Mahanubhav sect at Riddhipur and propagated the sect from the same place. Riddhipur has around 200 temples including prominent religious places of Mahanubhav sect. These places were destructed during the period of Aurangjeb. This sect has its branches in Gujrat and Punjab.
