Bhubneswar(V.S.K ). Shri Rakesh Pandey , National Convenor, Bajrang Dal expressed his deep concern here on July 9 over decreasing number of cows in the country. He emphasised upon the protection of cows for the sake of healthy environment. He was presiding over the National Conference of Bajrang Dal.
Shri Pandey demanded to state government to take drastic steps in this direction. He said, “ Cows are being transported to butcher houses like salt sacks in trucks and slaughtered there mercilessly.” As per rituals of Hindu Shastra the cows are worshipped as deities, which we are ignoring and have turned a blind eye. We are not realising and thinking for the Protection of cows which we should.
On this occasion the guest of honour,Shri Dinesh Chandraji, international organising secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad,expressed his regret regarding the attitude and behaviour of Puri temple administration and state government towards his holiness Sankaracharya Swami Nischala Nanda Saraswati and expressed it is a blow to religious sentiments of crores of Hindus.
Over one lakh youths decided to donate blood all over country on next November 2nd and blood grouping of 11 lakhs people will be conducted which was decided by the committee in the conference. The conference was continued for July 9th-10th at Utkal BJP Anna Sahayata Samiti, Bhubaneswar. Over 500 Bajrang Dal activists took part in this conference.
