Chitra Bharati Short Film Festival postpones for March

New Delhi. In view of ongoing pandemic, the fourth edition of Chitra Bharati National Short Film Festival, organised by Bharatiya Chitra Sadhana on every two years, has been postponed for the new dates – 25-27 March 2022. Earlier it was scheduled to be held on 18-20 February 2022. Venue of the event will remain the same at the newly constructed Bisankhedi campus of MCRP University, Bhopal. A good number of cine celebrities will be the part of this three-day mega event to guide the new talent and participants.

CBFF has received as many as 712 entries in 15 languages from 18 states out of them 120 movies make entry into the final round which will be screened at the event.

On the side-line, open forum and master classes will be held during the festival providing a rich and wholesome experience for budding filmmakers and cineastes.

The opening ceremony of the festival is scheduled on March 25 at the new campus of the university while the closing ceremony will be held on March 27 at Ravindra Bhavan.

The fourth edition of CBFF is being organised at Bhopal in co-association by Satpuda Chalchitra Samiti and Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Madhya Pradesh. First three festivals were organised at Indore, Delhi and Ahmedabad respectively in 2016, 2018 and 2020.
