The meeting for the northern region (Uttar Kshetra) would be attended by 43 members from Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi and Haryana.

It is noteworthy that a regular meeting of the Karyakari Mandal is generally held annually near Diwali to review the ongoing organisational activities and to discuss the future plans. Those who attend the meeting include Prant Sanghchalaks, Karyavahs, Pracharaks and above.

This year the national level meeting was to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. But it had to postponed due to COVID-19. In view of the changed circumstances and to follow the government’s guidelines related to Covid-19, it was decided that this meeting should be held at regional level and not at national level. This is happening for the first time.

According to Sangh’s organisational plan, the country has been demarcated into 11regions for functional perspective. Out of these 11 regions, the meeting of North Zone/region is being held in Gurugram. Similar meetings for other regions are taking place all over the country.

Karyakari Mandal meeting to review ‘Sewa’ work

The Gurugram meeting would last for two days in which there will be a discussion and review of the service work done by the Swayamsevaks during  COVID-19. Along with this, important and contemporary issues related to impact of Covid-19 on common people’s lives, education, health, self-reliance, Swadeshi etc. will also be discussed. In context of changed circumstances around us, the activities and programmes of Sangh related to daily Shakhas that have been carried out for the last 95 years would also be discussed.
