There was also a controversy when the national flag was tied below the CPM flag in Palakkad the other day. The national flag was hoisted below the CPM flag at K Jayarajan’s house in Anna Nagar on the Tamil Nadu border. The CPM had given an explanation that Jayarajan’s children hoisted the flag in this way and corrected it as soon as they realized the mistake. But the photo and video of this surfaced on social media.

CPM hoists national flag below the party flag in Kasaragod

On the other hand, Communists in India didn’t spare the national flag even on Independence Day. The CPM insulted the national flag by hoisting it under the party flag. The incident took place in Kasaragod Delampadi Panchayat.

The national flag was hoisted under the CPM flag in front of the party office. By continuously insulting the national flag, the CPM makes it clear that none of this applies to them.

BJP district president Ravishathantri Kundar criticized the CPM for insulting the national flag by tying the national flag below the party flag. By insulting the national flag, the CPM is trying to communicate that the party is bigger than the very nation, said Ravishathantri.
