Launch of New Free Mobile Medical Service for Tribal Areas

Dharmapuri. Seva Bharati Tamil Nadu has been actively engaged in uplifting underprivileged and marginalized communities in rural, urban, and coastal areas for the past 25 years. It has been providing services in key sectors such as education, healthcare, self-reliance, social welfare, and disaster management.

As part of these efforts, free mobile medical services have been implemented. Each mobile medical vehicle conducts two medical camps daily, totalling ten camps per week, benefiting thousands of people every month. Currently, mobile medical units are operational in five regions: North Chennai, South Chennai, Thiruvallur, Chengalpattu, and Erode.

Seva Bharati Tamil Nadu has launched its sixth mobile medical service in the tribal region of Hogenakkal, Dharmapuri district. This new mobile medical vehicle is being operated with financial support from Vistaar Finance and Samarppaka Seva Trust (Bangalore), in collaboration with Preetham Hospital and Seva Bharati Tamil Nadu.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Vijay Pranik, Joint General Secretary of Rashtriya Seva Bharati. Chandrasekar, Salem Division Head of RSS, delivered a special address. The event was also graced by Pujya Sri Ramananda Swamiji, founder of the Akhil Bharatiya Sannyasi Sangh, T.C. Ilangovan, Chairman of TNG Group of Companies, Nirmal Kumar, State General Secretary of Seva Bharati Tamil Nadu, Vivekanandan, State Vice President of Seva Bharati Tamil Nadu, Gajendran, Business Head of Vistaar Finance, and representatives from Samarppaka Seva Trust and Preetham Hospital. Together, they flagged off the free mobile medical vehicle.

This new mobile medical unit will provide continuous free healthcare services to the tribal and rural communities in Hogenakkal and other parts of Dharmapuri district.
