Palakkad, Kerala. A foundation stone laying ceremony was held for a housing project to benefit five needy families in Palakkad, initiated by RSS and Seva Bharati. The event was followed by Bhoomi Pooja.
These five new houses are being constructed on a 25-cent plot of land generously donated by Kishore Bhargava in Elappally Pandarakkavu. The inauguration of this initiative was led by KP Radhakrishnan, RSS Prant Karyavah. In addition to the housing project, a Seva Kendra is being established in the area to empower women by creating opportunities for various livelihoods.
RSS and Seva Bharati have ambitious plans to complete the construction of these houses within six months. The event was attended by RSS Vibhag Sanghchalak VK Somasundharam and others.
