Rameshwaram Cafe Blast Case – NIA Makes First Arrest in the case

New Delhi. NIA has made its first arrest from Ballari in Karnataka in connection with the recent Rameshwaram Cafe Blast Case. He is being interrogated. The detainee has been identified as Mohammed Shabbir. The NIA took over the case on 3rd March.

The blast, caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), took place at the cafe on 1st March. Shabbir is believed to be an accomplice of the prime suspect. Last week, the NIA released four new photos of the suspected bomber. The photos show the suspected bomber without a cap, walking with a backpack. He is seen wearing a mask in the photos.

The NIA had announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for those who share information about the accused. For that, the NIA also shared the contact numbers. The NIA also mentioned that the identity of the informer will remain confidential.

The footage of a person getting down at the bus stop, which is 100 meters away from ‘The Rameshwaram Cafe,’ and then coming to the cafe, was recorded on the CCTV camera, making it one of the crucial pieces of evidence for the investigation.
