VHP President met ISKCON chief and expressed empathy over attacks in Bangladesh

New Delhi. VHP President Alok Kumar today met ISKCON chief Ven. Mohanroop Das Prabhu to express his concern, empathy and solidarity of Hindu society over the attacks on ISKCON temples in Bangladesh. In a meeting held on Tuesday morning at the ISKCON temple in East of Kailash, South Delhi, the VHP President expressed his empathy over the brutal attacks on temples and devotees in Bangladesh and said that this is not the first time that ISKCON and its devotees have suffered attacks from Jihadis, but earlier also in 2021, this charitable institution was attacked. We salute the devotion and dedication of all the devotees and Brahmacharis towards Dharma.

VHP has demanded from the Bangladesh government that security and compensation should be given to the affected Hindu monasteries, temples and devotees and strict legal action should be taken against the extremists. In this regard, VHP has appealed to the government of Bharat and human rights organizations around the world to put a full stop to the recurrence of such Jihadi persecutions and activities. The ISKCON President was accompanied by their Media Director V N Das Prabhu and Rishi Kumar Das.

The International President of VHP also assured ISKCON that in this hour of crisis, along with VHP, the entire Hindu society stands with them wholeheartedly and wherever required, they would all work together.

Along with Alok Kumar, VHP National Spokesperson Vinod Bansal, Prant Dharmacharya Sampark Pramukh Deepak Gupta, Sah-Pramukh Lakshman Singh, VHP South Delhi President Deepak Khanna, Secretary Radhakrishna, Bajrang Dal Co-Convener Amit Besoya were also present.
