New Delhi. Some politicians are daydreaming about the Sanatan which the Mughals, missionaries and the British could not destroy! VHP’s Working President and Senior Advocate Alok Kumar has said today that, “I am surprised by both the language and the spirit of the statement of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s son and State Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. The kind of threats he is issuing, he did not even consider his own strength. The consequences of such threats can also be serious!!”
Alok Kumar said that Sanatan Dharma also faced challenges from Muslims, missionaries and the British, yet it won. The rule of the Mughals and the British also disappeared. Remember that the one who talks about destroying Sanatan himself gets destroyed.
He asked whether his statement was the statement of his government. If so, then we will tell the Central Government that Articles 25 and 26 of the Constitution gives every person the right to practice his religion. It is the duty of the government to protect it. Not just protest, abolishing Sanatan means that the government there has deviated from the path of law by not following its constitutional responsibilities. In such a situation, the Center will have to think about what options it has.
Alok Kumar also said that he has talked about equality and equity-oriented society and social justice, so where is there any disagreement with him in Sanatan Dharma? The religion that sees God in the heart of every person, the egalitarian society that will be created and the social justice that will be achieved through it, from where else can it be obtained! Dravidian culture is also one of the spiritual streams born in India with a unique and beautiful image. We all get inspired by reading about Saints Thiruvalluvar, Alvars and Nayanmars. CM’s son should find sources of mutual consent and unity instead of disintegration and destruction. If we go to the root of Kambha’s Ramayan and other religious texts, they all teach us this. They should study them.
The VHP Working President warned them not to do such things, the consequences of which can be serious for them too!
