New Delhi. The dreaded Coronivirus Pandemic has put the whole world into an emergency situation and everything seems to be stagnant. Amidst this crisis, some countries like China are busy provoking on the neighbouring countries like us. It seems like a plan.
China has played this game of catastrophic aggression too many times for too long. They transgress into our territory, arbitrarily make claims, keep on repeating them as if they are true, and then paint India as the aggressor. With the objective to highlight Chinese shameful acts and to show our solidarity to the brave soldiers of our country, a group of people from the North Eastern part of the country under the banner of “The VOICE OF NORTH EAST INDIA” has organized a peaceful protest by forming human chain and displaying placards near Chinese Embassy at Teen Murti Chowk, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi on Friday 19th June, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Considering the current situation and to maintain social distancing norms, the organisers fixed the gathering to 60 people representing each north eastern states of the country. Besides local community leaders namely, Khulna Sahni, Bemcha Devi etc. prominent social activists namely Dr. Ashish Bhabe from North East Study Centre, Dr. Pawan Kumar Rai etc. were also took part in the todays’ peaceful protest.

Through this protest a strong message is being sent to Chinese government that “don’t take lightly with the North East India because of the mere resemblance of its facial anatomy while dealing with territorial and national integrity. People of the region is ready to take up weapons, if need be, for national cause.
The organizers of the protest also express its gratitude to Delhi Police, Media Persons and Media Houses, people and all stack holders who contributed in making the protest successful.
