Itanagar. The annual Officer’s Training Camp (OTC) was formerly inaugurated at Abotani Vidya Niketan, Pachin Colony, Naharlagun by Dr. Joram Begi, Director, Higher and Technical, Education, Arunachal Pradesh.
Participants from all Arunachal Pradesh including Meghalaya and Assam assembled here for his 20 days camp starting from 22nd April. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Begi stressed on the role of RSS for nation building through discipline and patriotism which is need of the hour. Any nation states on earth that has developed to the height of glory could have done so through their organised society committed to nationalism. At the same time Dr. Begi highlighted the need for the protection of indigenous faith and culture which in a “now or never” speed. He gave the example of Red Indians in United States and Mayan Civilization in Guatemala as for as their dying culture. But at the same time Dr. Begi asked to discard irrational practices in neither our civilisation journey nor rejecting it completely. His motto was to keep our own house in order first.
Dr. Techi Upen Tara, Lecturer, Government College Yachuli and divisional secretary of RSS, spoke on the role of RSS in national rebuilding.
Among the other dignitaries present were Tai Tagak, state BJP president, Agung Bengia, president Donyi-Polo faith and cultural society of Arunachal Pradesh, Mrs. Gyamar Diriang, ZPM Nyapin, Nido Sakter, state secretary RSS, Tadar Kama, President Arunachal Siksha Vikas Samiti, Nabam Ruja of Camp Organising Committee.
