Udupi, Karnataka (VSK). RSS Sarkaryavah Suresh Bhaiyya Ji Joshi attended DATTA JAYANTI ceremony at HUDCO Colony of Manipal in Udupi district on Friday.
The event was organised by Keshavaraya Prabhu and his family, a local resident and senior RSS Functionary at his house with the participation of people of the same locality.
As a custom/tradition on this ceremony, Bhaiyya Jii Joshi along with other few, went for a barefoot walk for ‘Bhikshatan’ (locally called Madhukari Vrutti) in the colony. Bhaiyya Ji Joshi felicitated Sudhakar Salyan, who is a banker by profession yet serves also a barber. Joshi also felicitated veteran journalist A Eshwarayya.
Addressing on the occasion, RSS Sarkaryavah Bhaiyya Ji Joshi said “Noticing the good works done by people in the society, organising seva activities in several needy places, will help to bring social transformation”.
