Sindh. In a shocking news that throws light upon the dangers faced by minorities in Pakistan, which has always portrayed religious intolerance has now forcibly converted a Hindu couple to Islam at a local mosque in Sindh’s city of Nawabshah.
Imam of the local Masjid, Hamid Qadri, facilitated the conversion of the duo according to the reports.
The couple were then given cash following the conversion. This is not the first such case happening in Pakistan. Every year as many as 1000 young Sindhi Hindu girls between the age of 12 and 28 are abducted, forcibly married and converted to Islam, US-based Sindhi Foundation has said.
