Chennai. While we were giving the Akshata Prasad of Shri Ram JanmaBhoomi Mandir, we came across an elderly couple and the interaction with them was overwhelming.
Annalakshmi is the name of this mother who sang this Tamil folk song about Shri Ram. Her Husband name is Seeni Nadar. They were born in Ariangavur near Bhavoorchatram in Tenkasi district. They studied in ARIANGAVUR HINDU PRIMARY SCHOOL. Saroja, a teacher who worked there, taught this song to all the children when they studied in the 3rd standard. Important to note that there is a Shri Ram Mandir in Ariangavur. As far as I know, the Ramakavya lyrics in a single song (Eka Sloka, Verse) in Tamil and that too in the folk song format by layman got us goosebumps as this was not heard before. This is also a proof that Prabhu Ram is every household deity and unites whole of Bharat through the Bharatiya culture. I’m sure this video will be a burnol moment for the atheist hypocrites who say that Ram is not part of Dravidian culture.
