Chennai. It is known to all that the respected Supreme Court has accepted the historical and archaeological facts related to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi at Ayodhya. The respected Supreme Court had instructed the Central government to create a proper arrangement for the construction of the temple. Thus in February 2020, the Central government formed the Sri Ram Janma Bhumi Tirtha Kshetra. The great sacrifices and efforts made by crores of Hindus over many centuries, have made this possible. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple is not only a symbol of devotion of crores of Hindus to Bhagvan Shri Ram, but also a symbol of Hindu pride. It is planned that the temple will be 360 feet in length, 235 feet in breadth & 161 feet in height with 3 floors and 5 spires (Shikhar).
Many leading IIT’s, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Consultancy Services, Shree Sompura ji (architect) and various Saints are involved in building of the temple.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra has requested Vishwa Hindu Parishad to help in contacting devotees throughout the country to participate in the building of the temple. The Saints from all over the country as well as many other organisations will be participating in this huge outreach to the Hindu society involved in building of this Temple. Lakhs of volunteers will be involved in this effort.
In view of this, a huge outreach program to contact people has been decided from Makar Sankranti, the 15th January to 27th February 2020, Magh Purnima. Along with giving information to the devotees, to facilitate devotees to participate in building the temple and accept their offerings for the same, and to maintain financial transparency, coupons for ₹.10, ₹.100, and ₹.1000 as well as receipts books will be available with the volunteers. It is estimated that over eleven crore families in over four lakh villages will be contacted in this Jan Sampark Abhiyan (outreach programme). It is planned that throughout the length and breadth of the country, from every section of the society, rural as well as urban areas including the remote tribal and hilly areas, maximum people will be connected with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple through this Jan Sampark Abhiyan.
In Tamilnadu 10,000 panchayats, 5000 wards in urban areas and 50 lakh families would be contacted in this outreach program. About 90,000 volunteers would be involved in this campaign.
His Holiness Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, His Holiness Marudachala Adigalar of Perur Mutt and other traditional Sivaist and vaishnavist mutts would also involve in this campaign to mobilise entire Hindu Samaj of Tamilnadu.
