Maa Amritanandamayi Devi alias Amma accepted the Akshata consecrated at Ram Mandir, Ayodhya, in connection with the Pran Pratishtha, from senior RSS karyakarta S. Sethumadhavan. Sethumadhavan and a team of RSS karyakartas visited Amma at her Ashrama in Kochi on January 6. Amma accepted the Akshata and touched it at her head as a mark of utmost respect and devotion.
Amma was accompanied by several other devotees and monks in the Ashrama. Amma placed flowers on Askshata before receiving it.
Sethumadhavan visited famous actor Naren, well known film maker Vinayan and child artist Devananda for offering Akshata.
