ED arrested Bhupendra Saran in Rajasthan Paper Leak Case

New Delhi. ED has arrested Bhupendra Saran under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 on 09.10.2023 in the matter of Paper Leak case in Rajasthan. He was produced before the Hon’ble Special Court PMLA, Jaipur and the Special Court granted 03 days ED Custody. ED initiated investigation on the basis of FIRs/Charge-sheets registered/filed by Rajasthan Police, under various sections of IPC against Bhupendra Saran and other related persons.

ED investigation revealed that Bhupendra Saran in connivance with other persons leaked the question paper of General Knowledge of Senior Teacher Grade II Competitive Examination, 2022 which was scheduled to be conducted by RPSC on 21.12.2022, 22.12.2022 and 24.12.2022 at various places in Rajasthan. Further, Bhupendra Saran supplied the said leaked papers to Suresh Dhaka and other persons/candidates for the consideration amount of Rs. 8 to 10 lakh per candidate.

ED has earlier conducted search at 15 premises of accused persons on 05.06.2023, resulting in search operation various incriminating documents and digital records were seized. Further, ED has also provisionally attached movable & immovable properties worth Rs. 3,11,93,597.88/- of Bhupendra Saran and others vide Provisional Attachment Order dated 18.08.2023. ED had earlier arrested two accused persons Babulal Katara and Anil Kumar Meena AKA Sher Singh Meena.
