Shimla (VSK). Today on the occasion of silver jubilee publication of largest circulated Hindi Magazine” Matrivandana” in Himachal Pradesh, a function was organised to release its special issue “Himachal Gourav” and New Year Vikrami Samvat calendar for 2075 at Gaiety Theater, Shimla.
This programme started with the chanting of Maa Saraswati Vandana followed by the lighting of Jyoti by Narinder Thakur Ji ,RSS All-India Sah Parchar Pramukh, along with senior journalist Ashok Malik, Parmod Sood MD, PK Construction Pvt. Ltd. and Ajay Sood, Chairman of Matrivandhana Sansthan Shimla. On this occasion, special issue of Matrivandana Himachal Gourav and Vikrami, Samvat new year calendar 2075 was released.
Dr. Dayanand Sharma, editor of the magazine, threw light on 25 years of continuous and regular journey of publication of this magazine which achieved its circulation and approach at the remotest areas and every nook and corner of this hilly state as a result of which its reader’s number is more than four lacs.
On this occasion, Sh Narinder Thakur, in his address, congratulated the team of Matrivandana for the successful publication of the magazine for the last 25 years as a result of which this magazine has achieved a prestigious status. He said Matrivandana Himachal Gourav issue has included national, international, cultural, social and religious issues for the awareness of people. This effort will definitely inspire the youth for positive contribution to the nation. He called the masses to come out for the progress and prosperity of the nation.
Senior journalist Ashok Malik said in his address that the efforts of Matrivandana publication have made a significant role in Hindi journalism. The special issue of Matrivandana will come out with awareness of all sections of society in regard to the special contribution in the country’s laurels.
On this occasion, Jamna Dass Agnihotri from Hamirpur, Raman Dadhwal from Nurpur, Praveen Bali and Shashikant Sharma from Palampur, Smt Kamlesh and Anuj Panth from Shimla was honoured for their contribution of maximum circulation of this magazine in their areas. Ajay Sood, chairman Matrivandana Sansthan Shimla presented a vote of thanks.
