Bengaluru. Noted writer and Senior RSS Pracharak Chandrashekar Bhandari to receive Karnataka state Government’s reputed “Kuvempu Bhasha Bharati” Award for Best Translator for the year 2011 for his translation works on Dattopant Thegandi’s Book ‘Saamajika Kranti Surya Dr BR Ambedkar‘.
79 year old Chandrashekar Bhandari is known for his great contributions for RSS and related publications. He has penned several book, authored several translated books, hundreds of articles, has composed several patriotic poems. Among his poems, ‘Dharegavatariside Swargada spardhiyu sundara taynelavu’, (ಧರೆಗವತರಿಸಿದೆ ಸ್ವರ್ಗದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಯು ಸುಂದರ ತಾಯ್ನೆಲವು) was selected by state government and adapted as a patriotic song for upper primary schools. He has spent almost 54 years as RSS Pracharak, serving the society, now has the responsibility of Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishat for Karnataka. He also serves as Founder Trustee of Vishwa Samvada Kendra – Karnataka.

The book entitled “SAMAAJIKA KRANTI SURYA”, was released on October 22nd, Saturday 2011, the book of 580 pages, priced at Rs 400.
