The pastor who molested a minor girl in Tamil Nadu was arrested today. The accused is identified as pastor Andrews. The complaint filed by the girl’s family finally led to the arrest of the pastor.
The incident took place on 14th December. The girl and her brother were studying at the school administered by the church. The kids were staying in the hostel for women and children, which was headed by the pastor and his wife. The girl reached her home from the hostel during Christmas holidays and was reluctant to return to hostel and disclosed the issue when asked by her parents.
As the girl was not physically well on 14 December, she could not attend the prayer and stayed at her room in the hostel. Then the pastor saw the girl and abused her.
The girl also told the police that the pastor threatened her and asked not to reveal the incident to anyone.
