Chennai (VSK). November 1st is the day on which Tamil Nadu was carved out from erstwhile Madras Province after States Reorganisation Act, 1956 came into force. Periyarists Federation group (Periyariya Unarvaalargal Kootamaipu) had organized three-day ‘online meet’ from October 29 to October 31 to share views on Tamilnadu Festival (Tamilnadu Formation Day).
In the invite, it is seen the Saiva Spiritual Aadhenam leaders HH Perur Aadhenam Marudachala Adigalar and Siravai Aadhenam Kumaraguru Adigalar will join to bless the event.
Srinivasan, VHP Uttar Tamilnadu President on enquiry found that the Saiva Spiritual Adheenam leaders were not aware of other participants in online meet. Timely awareness created by VHP leader about anti-social elements made Aadheenam leaders not to attend the event. They also said that they intend to hold a solo program on November 1st at Aadheenam Mutts.
Periyarists Federation who tried to operate in the name of “Tamil” and tarnish the reputation of spiritual leaders (who are working with a spiritual sense for the development of Tamil) was thwarted at timely intervention.
