The Ram Mandir is being built in traditional Naagar style of temple architecture. It has a length (east-west) of 380 feet, a width of 250 feet, and a height of 161 feet. With each floor being 20 feet tall the three-storied temple has a total of 392 pillars and 44 doors.
While, the childhood form of Prabhu Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ram Lalla) is situated at the basement sanctum sanctorum, the first floor is dedicated for Shri Ram Darbar adored with the statues of deities, gods, and goddesses.
No iron is used in the temple, no concrete on the ground (earth). Below the ground, the sanctum sanctorum is constructed with a 14-meter- thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), giving it the appearance of artificial rock.
