African Spinner Keshav Maharaj visits Sree Padmanabha Temple

Kerala (VSK). Keshav Maharaj, the famous South African spinner visited Sreepadmanabha temple. He came to Bharat to play 20-20 against India at Karyavattom Green field stadium. The way he chanted “ente sreepadmanabha”, attracted everybody. The spinner beautifully recited the ‘Hanuman chalisa’.

For the hotel people who have suspicious about his religion at the end the general manager of the hotel himself accompanied Keshav Maharaj as his guide and took him to the shrine of Sree Padmanabha. The left arm spinner’s forefathers hailed from Sultanapur, Uttar Pradesh. His father Athmanand Maharaj and mother kanchana Mala. His wife Lerisha muniswami a well-known kathak dancer. Lerisha is a south African of Indian ethnicity like her husband Keshav Maharaj.
