Belagavi. Robot rushes to hospitals to help Covid-19 patients. As day by day hospital staffs are also getting infected while giving treatment to the corona positive cases. So to solve this problem the robot will be sent to the hospitals….
As it is common that the doctors and nurses will come in contact with the infected people while treating, feeding, medication etc they too get the infection so the engineers from Nippani invented a robot of 2.6 feet long. This robot can handle all the works of a nurse. This robot runs on battery can work upto 7 hours. It can be operated from any distance through mobile internet. This robot is developed by Shailendra Parik, Thulasidaas Saalunke, Barat Kurape and Bhanudaas Salunke with the cost of Rs.40 thousand. VTU has helped them financially. PM Modi’s Make in India and Local-Vocal is the inspiration for this robot development, said Shailendra Paarik. All the raw materials used for robot development are from Belagavi and Nippani. It is very useful for hospitals at this situation. We worked on this project as we received guidance from RSS and Seva Bharati. We are happy and proud about our output, said team.
